I would avoid DELL. No customer support. Heaven help you if you have a question for something other than an order. They are useless. And never ever buy an extended warranty.

hmm.. You can even chat online with customer service.. Not that I have had to talk to them often but the few times I have, getting to talk to someone about it was no problem.

Dell's support is bad but it's certainly better than Toshiba's and Sony's ##%$
Dell will help you eventually after a long phone wait.
Toshiba once asked me to pay $25 to tell me what model of modem was in a warranty-expired laptop.

Well for me two emails took 11 days to answer only one. Called too after being transfered SEVEN and the the eight time the same song what is your order # I hung up. All because they screwed my account information up. NO ONE there has the intelligence to understand that question. I want warranty work response what is your order number. My account show no orders. We cannot help you unless you have a order #. You are lucky and most likely had an order question.

I've not had any problems with Dell's service. Sounds like h57h probably is one of those unreasonable types.

I've used Dell's support quite a few times (we have many dell products at work). I've never had a problem with them at all.
