This would be sweet if it comes with 6-cells battery. Also, why Dell's uses 1024x576, while most of the other netbooks use 1024x600? Smile

I've yet to see a really good price on the Dell Mini's. Compared to Asus and Acer, you're always giving up something -- in this case, a few pixels and half the battery. Dell got such a big market share in laptops a few years back by lowballing the prices, but with the netbooks they've not done that -- and that's why they've got such a tiny market share in the netbook segment. It's all overpriced.

not really true, for the Mini 9 or Vostro A90 they had good $200/$250 deals late spring. I guess the Mini 10 is still too new for a good deal.

LAME!!! dell totally nerf'd their netbooks, and then RAISED the price.

the mini 9 was where it was at.

      --small
--up to 2GB of ram (try finding that now) gonna be nice with windows 7 but no
      --same screen
      --same battery options
      --cheaper
      --broadband
--wireless (why is N not standard on these, like who's gonna plug em in, so just give me N standard)

      #5 - You forgot a few items.

Dell FAIL due to pricing $40 extra for color, unless its black or white.
Dell FAIL for not including Bluetooth without an extra $20
The only thing I can give them credit for is using the Z520, which is a more expensive, lower power using CPU than the usual N270 or N280 Atom.

But I digress - this should be a discussion about the Staples deal. Sorry, but I get carried away when I think about Dell's sales model.
