I think every office has run these in the past 8-10 yrs. My company got shut down, so you're probably getting my old computer! Seriously - I had one of these in my old MAME cabinet and it worked great. Might wanna check "The 'Bay" for better prices tho.

If this is a GX270, watch out for the mobos, capacitors tend to blow up.

To expensive for a door stop, there are cheaper alternatives, does work well as a white noise generator when the fan goes to 120% and stays there.

I'm running MAME on one of these also. Perfect cheap solution.

Except that for a little more you can get a decent modern machine at WalMart with a monitor n' everything!

#7 What's you definition of "a little bit more"?
The cheapest desktop without a monitor is $300 and the cheapest setup with a monitor is $400.

I bought my dad one of these for $80 and gave him one of my old monitors. All he wanted was internet access, email, etc. It works perfectly fine. No reason to spend money on features he'll never use.

Throw linux on it, unlike winblows it doesnt require massive speeds and amounts of memory to do the exact same thing..
