      22" 16:9 is very short if you are use to a regular monitor or even a 16:10 monitor. This is actually shorter vertically than a 19" regular monitor. 1080p is going to be tiny on this screen...I recommend at least a 24" if not bigger.

      good point, that sort of high definition wont be very pleasant on something that small. guess i gotta go bigger!

      Thanks #2 didn't catch that... would've thought HDMI would have been a addtion if that was the intended use, doesn't work That great for desktop either.

      #2 - nonsense. I have a 21.5" 1080p, the physical vertical height is indistinguishable from the 19" 16:10 it replaced, visually I've gained height (1080 vs 1024).

      24" only makes sense for 1920x1200 or greater, otherwise you're sacrificing pixel depth. I can attest that 1080p looks amazing on a 21.5".

      If only it had HDMI at this price, I'd be in for one.

      Is there a formula for figuring out H x W if you have the 1) diagonal length value and 2) the H/W ratio (but not the values).

      Who cares about HDMI? Just get a DVI to HDMI adapter and leave it permanently on the monitor. So then the only thing missing is built in speakers which would be crappy anyway.

      Many video cards and cables can't go much above 1920x1200 so you have to be careful with that. Anyway I think I prefer two or more screens of normal resolution rather than one giant one.

      a^2 + b^2 = c^2

      c = diag screen size

      a/b = 1920/1080

      3 equations, 3 unknowns, solvable.

      #7.. express w in terms of h then use trigonometry (it's a right triangle, so the square of the diagonal is equal to the sum of the squares of the other 2 sides).

      #7 Looks like they do not teach trig in Texas. Who needs math? Well everyone at least some time in their life!

      Why wouldn't this be a better deal with the eBillme offer and coupon code?:
