      Make sure you have 20/15 eyesight. 1920x1080 on a 21.5" screen will make text so small, you'll need to be 2" from the screen to read it.

      i figured out my scaling issue. it was the onboard card all along. so these dell monitors scaling capabilities are dependent on the graphics card after all.
