Micro Center (Dallas) has a short supply of 27 inch high-res IPS LED monitors. These are not your normal 1080p or even a 1900x1200 these are 2560x1440. The equivalent Dell is in the $800 range. From what Ive read, this is an LG panel same as the Dell for $399 in an off brand case. Last time they had these they sold out in 3 days.
Look up YAMAKASI CATLEAP 2703 or Achieva Shimian on ebay.
For 50 bux more I would rather have a Dell badge on a monitor..
Agreed with LJW. What's the highest resolution the HDMI port will allow?
Dell also sells a quality brand named as PLANAR for $220. I had been using it for last 1 year and had been very satisfied with its performance.
