Heck, just pick up a non-wide version of a similar Dell panel for the kids computer (a little older as it has the all black stand). $75 gently used from a craigslist, $100 +tax isn't bad for a widescreen Dell (new with warranty). Sure there are 19" for this but most off branded... actual didn't want a 19" for theirs.
I think for most people 17" is more than enough space, which makes this a pretty good deal. 100 dollars for an lcd monitor..man, that use to be a Black Friday/Stand in Line/First 10 ppl deal.
