I am sick of these crappy widescreen monitors tho. at least it is cheap.
I have always had good luck with Dell monitors. They are typically of good quality and last for years.

i got a 19" widescreen w/ dvi for $100 after rebates on black friday
so should i wait until black friday before buying ? was the $100 deal from dell also?

Agreed, price is good but why go with a 17" monitor when prices are coming down on 22s and 24s? Buy at least a 19" or 20" for a little bit more...
