      Battery life is poor, too.

Link doesn't take you to this product. Appears to be no good.

Horrible tablet. Besides the low screen resolution, the screen quality is awful (poor contrast, very limited viewing angles), performance is sluggish, and the battery won't even last a full day on stand-by.

for $135, seems like a deal to me. Not sure why people require outsized resolution anyway. I find them to be a problem not a solution.

compared to a Blackberry Playbook at around the same pricepoint, the BB blows this away. The screen on the Playbook is better than the Ipad.

I have one, and would not recommend it.

If you're looking for a cheap iPad, look elsewhere - the difference between the 7" and 10" screens is huge.

For those that have a clue as to what they want and think a 7" is good enough, then my reasons for not taking this one would be multifold. As other posters point out, the battery life stinks. For its size, it's also fairly heavy. Boot time is long. WiFi range is mediocre at best.
