Much better than a netbook since it has a real dual core, and a bigger screen.

I have this laptop, been using it for a year. Overall it's a good value and compromise on size/power. It does have HDMI out btw. The biggest problem is that it uses Nvidia chipset and finding stable robust drivers is a real pita. Trust me, stick with Intel chipsets!

Also, this only has the 720p screen, mine is 900p and really is a big improvement.

Ben post wrong this is a good laptop, it has core 2 dual instead not dual core. which make a even better deal.

I've had one of these for a while now and it's a nice machine. Unlike the other commented I've had no stability issues. The 3d acceleration is much better than any Intel board. I've used this for some like gaming and it does ok. Not as good as discrete but a good value at this price.
