#18 - I'm looking for monitors to use in a vertical installation. Viewing angle is my main concern (most monitors aren't made to be viewed from the "bottom", which would be right side in a vertical installation.) How do these perform in that respect?
I'm happy with mine. Got it for about $160 on ebay during one of the "30% off for using Live.com" stupid promos. Probably better ones out there but it ain't bad at all for a reliable monitor with good picture and DVI/VGA
Buy it elsewhere (check NexTag or PriceGrabber for better prices).

2008 brought Dell Ultrasharp monitors with TN panels, and XPS laptops & desktops with integrated graphics and other low end features. Great way to keep f*%king up a brand.
#29 the 2408 has good color gamut probably of the best color reproduction monitor out there. If you want more room and something bigger and have some deep pocket you can go with a 3007WFP-HC which uses S - IPS panel. I like the HP LP3065 than the 3007, but they're both the same panel type just different features.
Anyone interested in this monitor should check out the reviews. I just did and no one seems to be impressed with this monitor. In fact some of them are much less kind

nice but no cigar; needed 1920x1200 resolution bae; wait for ultrasharp 2408wfp to hit $295 range in Jan-Feb 2009
Sweet baconeo! I've had Ultrasharps for years and they never give up the ghost.
Ah yeah I would want the 24 inch too. No deals yet?
Would have snatched this if this is 24"
