Dell can kiss my @ss. $989 for this piece of sh*t ?!?! Why not just buy a 42" or 46" LCD TV with this price?

Yes, why not? Cheaper 42" and 46" will be 720p (1366x768 or something like that). So not 10p like this is capable of. 1080p televisions which still have a lower resolution will be around this price.

This is also has a 92% Color gamut for more accurate colors. Not saying that this deal is great, but I don't believe a comment like that #1 helps especially if you start off with 'Dell can kiss my @ss.' followed by '$989 for this piece of sh*t?'

      This is hardly a POS.

      1920 x 1200 seems low for a 27".

But the 30" requires two DVI outputs on tour computer doesn't it? The 27" definitely does not.

Not 2 DVI outputs, but a single dual-link DVI output. There's a big difference.

Has anyone tried hooking up their Xbox 360 by using the VGA MS connection and are you able to get 1080p? Do you still get those nasty dark lines like you get with the 2407wpf when you select 1080p?

#5 is right. That is a pretty low resolution for this size monitor. And there are 1080p screens around 42" in the $1k price range.

The price is still too high for this product, once it is around 500 I would give it alot of thought.

I got 42" 1080p tv and it works great as a monitor, you will want sit away back if you play games since motion sickness comes much easier with such a large screen close up.

Thank you #19. You are a credit to your country, unafraid of the racists here who will belittle you because of your poor english. Please keep us updated on how you benefit from gulag labor and a lower overall standard of living in your country.
