Get the same thing direct from Korea at half the price. Ebay, search "shimian". Have 3, perfect and same as my Dell.

I bought the Shimian #1 mentions about a year ago. Came from Korea by DHL in a week. It's been working perfectly and not a single dead pixel. The cheapest models are stripped: single input, no USB hub, no on-screen menu; for a little more you can get that, LED backlighting, built-in speakers, etc...
I would definitely buy from them again.

#2, $650 for the Dell U2713HM would be a great price. Let us know where you saw it.

Yes, the two times we saw the U2713HM on sale at that price, it only lasted for about an hour. They might have been price mistakes. Otherwise, it's almost always (and currently) $700+. The U2711 is arguably a better monitor, depending on your usage.

      Dell UltraSharp 27" LED Monitor [2560 x 1440]
is available everyday at $649.99 at COSTCO
      here is the link
      http://www.costco.com/Dell-UltraSharp%e2%84%a2-27%22-LED-Monitor-%5b2560-x-1440%5d.product.100019086.html

I believe 2711 is superior colorwise, only has some tint issue with color calibration and USB 2 ports, 2713 has USB 3 ports

Thanks, even with the 5% non-member surcharge, that's pretty good. It almost pays for the annual membership fee.

Actually the Best Buy deal wasn't a price mistake. After tax and environmental fees for CA, it was $616.99 and I've already got the tracking number from UPS. Great deal!!
