Same exact baconPS panel, without the bells and whistles (no USB hub, no SD card reader, no HDMI or component inputs, no on screen menus) from Korea: $280 shipped. Available on ebay. The one I got is the Achieva Shimian. More expensive models with OSD, multiple inputs, etc... and a 30" model are also available.
Interesting. I may try including those in HD surveillance packages. I must read more about the build quality and warranty.
