In the last episode of this deal, #2 need4mospd stated he would rather have two 24" monitors, or for that price, three or four....have two, in which #3 moeboy5619 stated he didn't know what need4mospd was smoking, but he wouldn't find a monitor that is even close to this build quality and picture quality for this price. After which #4 dave_c stated he agree with #2, and wrote "to me it's more about the effective workspace than the picture quality since I'm not a graphic artist." #5 Know_Cents, agreed with #2 and #4 and then #7, me, stated I'm opposite of whatever #4 wrote.

#8 ruel24 offered a woeful story on his consumer support treatment by Dell, then #9 dave_c tried to offer some comfort and advice to #8.

Stay tuned to see what happens next in this fascinating thread of Dell UltraSharp U2913WM 21:9 29" LED Monitor $550 at Dell Business...

I have a strong feeling as soon as Dell goes private they will get rid of these high end inventory for cheaper price. I hope to see Michael Dell getting out of this business this month - waiting for a sharp fall in price on these.

Michael is done with Dell and this computer business - taking it private is just a clever ruse to get out of this business.

When Michael Dell takes company private, you can kiss these cheap deals goodbye. It's cheaper priced volume products that are pushed by wall street that's hurting Dell. Every quarter they have to meet sales expectations, if the economy tanks they are forced to slash prices and put coupons out to move the goods or else investors are going to kill the stock.

Going private they can concentrate on higher profit products and services and no pressure from uninformed investors pressuring them to meet sales goals.
