CompWiz17, I don't see anywhere on the product page saying that it is IPS.
"Plus, with a 178°/178° (typical) ultra-wide viewing angle..." which is synonymous with higher end panels (IPS/PVA/MVA etc). Plus i believe all of Dell's ultrasharp models are IPS, or have been so far.
