It is expensive, but I know it is a good deal for this 30 incher. Buy it if you were willing to save up some major $ for this.
I took out a loan to get my 30" dell when they first came out. It's the only computer purchase that has exceeded my expectations. Yes, you can put 2 smaller monitors together, but it's just not the same. It's the real estate of 2560 x 1600 that makes it shine. Adobe products LOVE the extra space.
Do they sell refurb's anymore? I picked a 30" up about 18 months ago for under $800. I have only seen them once or twice since.

This thing is a monster, the 3D versions should be replacing these in not too long.
you can use any monitor for 3D as long as it's 120hz
cost too much just for viewing xxx pics.
When viewing XXX pics, no cost is too high!
