Do I have to start a business in order to buy this thing?

What a big leap since the day Michael Dell sold his computers one by one around the neighborhoods. He did not care whether the customer was a business or not. He just hoped to be able to sell one by one. Now he has segmented the customers into business and non-business markets, like peas on the plate. Acts like a snob king huh. Do they all become baldy old thinkers when they start getting some dollars?

I realize Apple does not do this. Theirs are more expensive, but seem more friendly, in terms of products and policies. Pay more and feel equal?

not sure if you're being serious #1, anyone can buy from dell business. I agree it is a crock, and actually in a lot of cases businesses pay worse prices from Dell since you can only buy up to 5 of something at the "special" price. When you hear what big businesses/organizations pay for computers from dell, as a super-duper deal shopper you want to scream highway robbery.

All that said, a lot of times dell is the lesser of all evils, certainly better than Apple at twice the price.
