      Interesting question #1

Core 3 rates at 2071 PassMark CPU Mark, 161 in rank, rates in High-End CPU category

P7570 rates at 1520 PassMark CPU Mark, 252 in rank, rates in High Mid Range CPU category

      See here for details: http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_list.php

The core i3 is definitely faster, but does the average person need that power over the C2Duo? Very subjective, but for typical office use, likely not. Otherwise, the specs. are quite close with the Vostro shipping with an anti-glare screen. That's a subjective attribute also, but would be preferable to me given the type of computing I do on a day-to-day basis. If you plan on doing a lot of multimedia editing, an i5 or i7 is preferable whereas the i3 can handle some multimedia/multitasking presentation better than some C2Duos.

I have friends with Toshibas like the one in the lineup here and they really are fingerprint magnets. While that bothers me, it wouldn't exactly be a baconbreaker, but I try to avoid such cabinetry. I've had good experience with Dell customer service, when I needed to use it, but others have not. I am unfamiliar with Toshiba's CS.
