Spending such a paltry amount on an espresso machine is essentially throwing your money away. If you think it makes "beautiful tasty espressos" then you've never had one. Garbage internal components, flimsy chassis, ultra-weak pump, inadequate heating element, and.....pressurized portafilter(yeah enjoy that fake crema)..... Seriously, save up for something decent or get a $40 Brikka pot if you're going to make espresso at home. If you're really on a budget just get a $20 Aeropress, although if you only want an espresso-like drink, the Brikka comes much closer.

I am not sure why people compare a $50 Coffee machine to Rancilio that cost 10 - 20 times more. This is the best Espresso maker for this price. If you can afford it go and by your self a Rancilio

#5 - You can get a used Rancilio for $300 or less if you look. If you don't want real espresso then by all means, buy this.

Aluminum only leeches into acidic foods cooked in aluminum over long periods. Your coffee is in a Brikka for only a few minutes. Millions of Italian households both here and in Italy have aluminum Mokka and Brikka pots. Most cookware is still made from aluminum as well. Your antiperspirant deodorant has aluminum in it. Hope you don't drink soda or beer. Stay away from city water.

Black coffee is 50 cents everywhere. You have a vag if you get anything else.

That's like saying anything with bbq sauce on it is bbq and you have a vag if you like real authentic bbq. And besides noob, if anything espresso is more manly than 50 cent coffee. Espresso is like taking a shot, normal coffee is like drinking a beer. I like both, but some "vag" types will only drink beer, or 50 cent coffee.

I recently purchased this item. So far the espresso comes out good. I purchased some Starbuck coffee beans, make the espresso using this machine and compare the taste with a Starbuck brew and I have to say this machine made one heck of a drink. Would recommend.
