These cheap lasers are a hazard. Read up on the dangers through google.

Point it at an airplane and go to jail. Many airports have problem with laser strikes from ground based rodeo cowboy.

#1 - NALPA? North American Legion Press Association?
#2 - Your point? An indiscriminate google search can find hazards to anything. A search for "water" and "dangers" was similarly illuminating.
#3 - And if it were a knife ad, you might say, "Point it at a human being and go to jail." The dangers or pointing a laser at an airplane are well-known enough that ThinkGeek had an April Fool's ad for a USB-controlled laser plane tracker... 3 years ago! And for what it's worth, the danger of these lasers to planes is about as much as leaving your iPhone connected to Skype during take-off. Most commercial aircraft don't even have carrotpit glass that's visible from the ground except during take-off or landing except at very oblique angles and great distances.

IOW, none of your comments have anything relevant to say about whether the product or the deal are any good.

FWIW, these yum cha green lasers seem to be brighter than my 5mw custom-built, IR-filtered green laser from 5 years ago. I'm guessing that many of them are quite a bit more than the advertised 5mw though not nearly as well focused. But year, don't point them at planes unless you want a visit from the feds.

IR filters are sometimes not included or not installed properly so this can be cooking your retina and you would not know until the damage is done. Damage can come from reflected image of the green dot.
