If you're considering this bat as a gift for someone (it does appear to be a good deal) for either Babe Ruth or High School level, make sure to check with your local school or league as many towns and schools are either moving to all-wood bats or are following the NCAA approved bats listing. This is a 2013 version of the approved 2012/2011 so one would think that this will be fine, however, I would still use caution and reach out to the organizations before purchasing.
