Electronics Expo has the Denon AVR-4311CI 9.2 Channel Network Multi-Room Home Theater Receiver with HDMI 1.4a for $1999 - $569 off with coupon code BIGBEN [Exp 3/31] + $30 shipping = $1459 shipped.
140 watts/channel discrete amplification, 7 x HDMI 1.4a repeater inputs
Audyssey MultiEQ XT32, internet radio & network streaming via Ethernet
Good receiver. Beautiful sound. Remote control difficult to figure out. Instructions are poorly written and difficult to follow. Electronic Expo is an aggressive spammer. Is Electronic Expo an authorized Denon dealer? Otherwise, warranty won't apply.
I have this one. Very good reciever. The first reciever to be certified for airpay from apple as well!. It is a $50 upgrade from Denon. Yes, they sell you functionallity upgrades via LAN connection on the AVR.
7 HDMI inputs including front one, Try Mr. Rebates and get some additional cash off. I did in noveber and ended up at 1359-1379 at the time.
There are android / and iphone remote apps for this AVR as well. Think of it like a router also, in the fact that you can backup config etc.
Also, Dual hdmi output is handy for 1.3 3D HDTVs. On Mits DLP "Block the big window type tv" I can run macros on harmony for 3d sources and have it switch to HDMI2(set for 3D) and HDMI1 set to non 3D color setting. A nice work around since it has 2 active HDMI outputs. Pandora built in is nice too . Type in a zipcode and it pulls up streaming local radio stations with ease.
Welcome to the fine world of Denon, No need to unplug avr to send to service for firmware update, notifications are great
Oh well just buy it if you are in the market for one. Its a good one. Scales everything to 1080p and overlays gui as well.
Been waiting for this! Thanks!
