Brad nailers are very inexpensive if you live near harbor freight tools. last week I saw one that did brads and staples for around $16. They also can handle longer brads than this one.
I could understand getting dewalt if it was a roofing nailer or a heavy duty tool, but do not think it is needed for a brad nailer.
