The new Wacom Intuos4 just hit the market, shipping now. Look for the Intuos3s to start dropping in price. If you have the money, start there. The next step down would be a Bamboo, also from Wacom. Unless you are just looking for the most basic tablet, avoid these things.
i bought this and it only lasted a couple times before it flatlined.
Wacom is the only quality tablet available...
