AllSat.com has their America's Top 100 Digital DISH package for $30 per month, with free 3-months (HBO/Cinemax), free DVR upgrade, free HD upgrade, free installation, plus free DishHD for 6 months. Free iPod Shuffle, 7" DVD Player, or Home Theater System with purchase.
Dish Network service is not that great. I moved from Comcast to Dish. Dish't HD pictures look pathetic. To top all of that, the HD DVR keeps loosing connection to the switch. Dish offers only first 90 days complimentary warranty. If your receiver stops working, they charge you $70 to make a visit to fix this.
The rep also "recommended" me to buy a service plan for $5 a month which would cut down the service cost to $30. Comcast doesn't charge any to come fix their issues. In the whole, my experience with DISH is horrible.
DirceTV is the same #3. The installer did not clamp the coax connector tightly on my roof. I would lose signal once in a while in one of my receiver. I borrowed my neighbor's 30' ladder to reach my 2-story roof and found out the hard way. I tried to fix it myself but I didn't have the right tool. I called and complainted and they told me it's been more than 90 days and they want $140 or $160 to come out to check out the connection!!! I said no thank you and switched to Disk after my year is up. Disk HD has more channels than DirecTV. Most of them may be junk but at least they have them. Unlike DirecTV, only got a handful. I still enjoy my KungFu HD, History HD, Food network HD, TNT HD, TBS HD, and a bunch others.
They have a Home Theater setup that is worth $80? That must be a piece of shite.
i'd like to see al gore chew on this

KungFu HD?! Awesome!
With HD can you actually see Kane snatch the pebbles from the masters hand? How about the foot prints in the rice paper? If not it's a rip off.
lol #6. Well done.
I was offered a great deal to come back to dish, but unfortunately got signed up for something else. My advice is get it in writing.
