GoDaddy.com has .COM domain registration on sale for $2.19 for the first year (regularly $10) with coupon code 199TEST. They have good prices from a leading reputable registrar. If you've seen some of the other cheaper registrars, take note, as with many of them you don't actually own the domain you buy!

    So I can buy bensbargains.net for $2?
Still seems somewhat expensive. I'll pass.

Thanks #2. I mean how can you actually BUY a domain as opposed to renting one?

you cant really buy a domain,
you just have to keep registering it until the end of time.

Tried to test a few to see if they were available and you are right #8. Looks like gomommy, and stopdaddy are already owned by godaddy LOL

Only works once (e one domain), unless you feel inclined to open another account or whatever else is necessary to circumvent the limitation.
