youd be better off with a sweat band and a $6 cree mini light
I kinda like it, except that it lacks a top strap and takes 3 x AAA cells instead of 2 x AA, and that I've no need for the separate little 5mm LEDs, I can't imagine ever wanting only 1 or 3, ~ 2 lumen each LEDs lit if I'm going to the trouble of putting on a headband.
Dorcy stuff is usually better quality than generics though, and generally rated closer to accurate. This is probably close to the same amount of light you'd get from many so-called 3W generic lights which don't actually drive the LED at 3W. Some may be brighter, but it's doubtful any are more reliable at the $14 price point.
