This device(Drobo S 5 DRDR4A21) does NOT have networking capabilities(no NIC). This is a USB/eSATA/Firewire Drive Array. May want to update your title going forward.
Yup. That's why it isn't as good as other solutions. I thought Drobo had another solution with networking!
Drobo does have some NAS systems and then tend to get some good reviews. HDD prices are still a little steep, but I am keeping an eye on all 4-5 bay NAS systems...
