    Did he get crushed by a wack jack or just bust through and have you? Of course with this and any floor jack -- even the high priced ones, you'll wanna use the floor stands/supports... especially in Earthquake-prone areas Smile

    I don't use those fancy jack stands. Where I come from, we just use big blocks of wood.

    @pupaboy, so how do you shrink and expand the wood so you can lift the car?

    You lift until it's high enough to slide the wood under.
