No, blockbuster got killed because of PPV, NetFlix, AppleTV, etc. Why go to store when a few clicks of the remote gets you instant gratification? Redbox is only good if you pass one every day on your way to work. They're now starting a streaming service like Netflix but it only makes sense if you already use redbox a lot.
Redbox Instant which is in beta sucks. Online selection awful. They won't stream half the time. They are offering four free credits to use at the kiosk per month included in the price. I already canceled it it was so bad to make sure I didn't get charged the monthly fee.
Wow some happy camper must really like redbox given all the thumbs down.
