eBay with Vacuum Warehouse has the refurbished Dyson AM01 Air Multiplier 10" Table Fan (White) for $110 with free shipping. Bladeless fan features smooth & constant air flow, rotates 90 degrees and draws in up to 5.3 gallons of air per second.
#8 G/sec * 8.019 = cfm As I said, odd mesaurement, one that has little meaning to most consumers. Wow, 5.3 gallons/sec! If someone poured 5.3 gallons of water per second on me, that would be a lot because my low-flow showerhead is only 2.5 gallons/minute! Sounds about right, but this is air we're talking about, not water.
all I want to know is how loud it is. If it's silent, I'll consider paying this much for a bedside fan. If not, I think I'll just go burn dollars for the rest of the day instead.
waste of money
Good only for use as a fart relocator...
Thats what they said about Facebook stock, and look at it now. oh wait.....
NOT a bladeless fan. Just a hidden blade fan. The actual fan is in the base.
Personally, I'd rather live with the blades, and buy SEVEN 12" fans, at Walmart.
Gallons/sec of air? What an odd measurement, and BTW, that's 42cfm or the amount of air you'd get from an average 80mm chassis fan.
"draws in up to 5.3 gallons of air per second"
and delivers less?
#5 that sounds about right as this fan doesnt put out much air.
has anyone else noticed that table top fans work better then stand fans?
I guess you are mixing "per second" with "per minute".
This is actually a good fan with plenty of moved air volume (yeas I have one). Still damn overpriced though.
This is like the Bose of table fans.

yeah in that respect 5.3 gallons of water is falling on you right now.
Have you seen density around? Did he blow away in a dyson fan?
But it eliminates the dreaded "Buffeting" of a normal fan!!

This thing blows.
HDMI??
Not good.
Overpriced no matter which way you look at it.
Tennis anyone?
