Ends at 9PM PDT. Cowboom has the Dyson AM01 Air Multiplier 10" Table Fan for $190 + $5 shipping = $195 shipped. Bladeless fan features smooth & constant air flow, rotates 90 degrees, and can move more than 5 gallons of air per second.
While I don't think it's worth anywhere near $200, I do have to say that it is worth more than a typical table fan because of the "choppiness" of the air from most fans. Sitting in front of a normal fan pointed at my face, I'd get a headache after a while. With this fan, I'm totally fine. On those really hot 105F+ days where you just want to lay back in front of the fan and watch TV, I could sit in front of this fan for hours and be fine, with no headache. $200? No way in hell. $100? I'd think about it. Anything less than $100? I'm picking one up.
Plus, the infinite power knob is keat (wish more fans had it). Sometime syou just want a little bit more are than low, but medium is too high ir too loud. I've plugged fans into light dimmer plug cord things before, and they work, but this makes a lot of sense.
This would make sense if it was room sized, mounted on the ceiling with the fan motor in the attic attached to your air conditioner duct when needed for additional cooling. But no it's just shoots off a very directional source of air. Neat idea, overpriced, looks odd, quiet at least. I agree it does resolve the "choppy" air issue.
i will buy this fan and scoff at all homeless men/women, on the streets of Y, who ask me for $.50. How the hell am I suppose to afford a $200 desk fan if i gave away .50 to ever bum i come across; I'm pissed that i couldn't by the $400 version... This is laughable.
This is just for looking of new idea. Made no difference
Dyson = Sharper Image = As seen on TV = Overpriced Crap = Fool and His Money
^ You left out Apple.
An overpriced, underpowered fan. I wouldn't buy one for $20 let alone $200.
I would buy it for $20.
Anyone know where I can get a table that positions this about waist high?
A thrift store?

$195? Is that all? I have $210 to waste.... where can I find it for that price?
overprice, does what every fan does blow air
It might be over priced but at least you will be able to say that you have something that nobody else you know has...
Yeah... and been know as the Dork with the Dyson. I'll look great next to your Popel Pocket Fisherman...
An "Air Multiplier" is to a table fan as what a "Previous Owned Car" is to a used car...
