Woot has these on sale all the time. It's usually the D25 version though. This is not a great refurbish price for a D24.
Dyson's have problems with cheap plastic breaking. Consumer Reports didn't review Dyson in their 2011 book. Suction is one of it's other problems.
Go get a Dirt Devil or one of those bag less Hoovers (same thing) instead and your wallet will thank you.
Got a refurb DC25 close to this price. We love it but I can see where someone would feel these are overpriced.
I haven't met any owners who after using the ball has gone back to anything else. Expensive, yes. But any device that makes cleaning seem less of a chore is worth it to me. Plus, the amount of dust this thing picks up is both amazing and disgusting.
