I got a refurb for $60. Battery was DOA. Got a replacement under warranty. Maybe lasted a year. I've seen these on Amazon for over $300 where the baconeer who bought them vigorously defended their decision. Caveat Emptor burp.
Get the Makita BCL180W on Amazon. If you already have Makita LXT batteries they are interchangeable with this. The BCL180W set comes with a smaller battery to save weight. If you want to run the full size heavier battery you can & it'll run non-stop for almost 30 minutes. The only thing you loose over the Dyson is a brush attachment. The dual filters are washable.
If we're voting #9, I kind'a think it helps convey #6's disgust of the product and a warning that if you fall for it, you'll just be a MF like he was...
instead of spending alot on one vacuum, i found it works out better if you just buy a new vac every (few) years. There are many companies out there like hoover offering up very competitive products at a much lower price point.. the difference in performance is really negligible.
I've pretty much given up on any cordless rechargeable device that uses anything like a respectable amount of power.
That said, everyone I know who owns a Dyson swears by it. I own a Dyson and swear by it. My parents have this cordless Dyson and like it quite a bit.
I hate the big vacuum companies, and will never again voluntarily buy anything they have to sell. They wanted nothing to do with Dyson or any bagless vacuum because they wanted to keep stealing money through the hugely profitable and completely pointless vacuum bags.
His crushing success finally convinced them to join the bagless market, but evil is evil and I want nothing to do with them.
^ But I like coffee in a can. Imagine if it was in your pocket instead and it started raining. What a mess, and then you have to explain brown stains running down your pants.
i read and heard from reviewers that these are not all they are cracked up to be.
Dyson = hype. Most people buy because it looks cool...
yea, reviews are pretty solid that the batteries on these are generally no good.
no deal to be had here!

Yeah, the evil corporations wanted to hold house cleaners down. I think we should go after the coffee in the can corporations and boycott them too!
Are you with me men?
