These junk motherboards just getting cheaper and cheaper until someone who doesn't care about any performance buys them.

These motherboards are good enough for a great number of users, who do not care about over-clocking. I have numerous ECS motherboads no major problems. One time I had to flash the bios, because it didn't support the newer CPU that I had, which is again not a super big deal.

It *is* a big deal when you pay Ben's pimped prices. These were free with a CPU quad packaged by Frys. A sucker and his $$ soon part.

#3, my ECS board just went to BIOS error telling me that the "Overclocking failed". But I didn't overclock it. It did this a couple months ago (and before then too) and I put it at "Optimal Settings" and let it be. Unless the default optimal settings are too much and I should be underclocking it...

ECS does have bad repute and I'm sure that people must have bad experiences with their motherboards. I am just trying to let people know about my experiences, there is no doubt that Asus, Gigabye, MSI, Foxconn etc have nicer boards, but they are more expensive too.
