Need a budget AM2+/AM3 board with onboard video?

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138111

Bam. $40. Free shipping. No MIR. AM2 support tacked on.

Only has a 6150 as opposed to an 8200... but really.. neither of those cards are going to do ANYTHING except show your desktop.

This is a nicely optioned newer board and I say it would be a good deal, but the 383 Eggviews aren't that awe-inspiring...

The words "A budget motherboard" is a waste for any thing than if you are some how building 10 units for a business client and you're just cheap, while that's hardly happens those clients just go to Dell.
Building even your own personal “recession rig” the mobo is one of a few components not to cheap out. It's the back bone of your build, there other newer business class mobo's that are inexpensive and provides many of the new features. Even if do not want gaming, there are so many advantages and features that down the road you'll be squander time and money trying to make up for the short comings. Newer mobo's can provide HDMI output, taking over of video tasks from the CPU etc.
If cheap and minimal is what you're after sure, but digging up 4-5 year old chipset that been patched up for modern CPU's and memory is not a good investment. The 6150 IGP are old business class and nowadays just Goodwill fodder

This 740G is a Foxconn who, IMO make a better board than Biocrap…
It's a modern business class (minimal) board for AM2+/AM2 (at this level AM3 support isn't a significant consideration really), uses the SB700 and will provide support for 4GB of DDR2 1066 (AM2+), it has DVI-D output and Gigabyte Lan (1000Mbps) that alone is worth the price of $45; but you pick up shipping. The 740G reviews are better. Wink
