Easy to set up. Funny thing is, my signal from the upstairs router was more powerful than this when sitting right next to the networked DVD player.
I have one of this and works fine. Extender is designed to place somewhere in the middle between router and the location you access from. Accessing through the extender from near the extender doesn't make sense.
