Seems like this has been the price (or about the price) for a while now.
Check Ben's price history feature (Unfortunately, Ben's poorly configured/programmed software thinks his own website's URL is spam or I'd post it):
This seems like a great idea. Never bought into the K-cup (and others) because of the selection & expense. Anybody have experience with this?
#3, I have one. It pretty picky on the grounds, I got some dunkin donuts turbo ground coffee and it seems that its too finely ground. It ends up packing the grounds so close that it will spray out of the sides. I have yet to try it with a coarser ground.
Keurig has their own version which is longer and requires easy removal of a piece pre-installed on your machine. About the same price.
Just buy the k-cups tight wads. This thing is crap.
I have several of these and they work fine, bringing the cost per cup way down from the typical 55 cents a K-cup. However, one must be sure the cartridge is seated properly before closing the top, or the needle will pierce the plastic, resulting in an unusable cartridge.
#7, stop writing in third person. It's annoying...
Will this let me take my $130 Keurig brew coffee for the same price and same flavor as a $12 drip machine? Isn't the whole idea of the Keurig to have overpriced one cup convenience coffee? This seems like it accomplishes nothing since you literally can buy a brand new drip machine for about $12? What am I missing here? You lose the convenience since it's apparently fussy about grounds.
If you can't figure out the advantages yourself, then it's best you stick with your $12 Mr. Coffee...
