Great, a refurb alarm clock. Just want I'm looking for to make sure I get up everyday for work.
The smartset feature of these really is a nice plus. It uses a small button battery for the clock instead of a 9 volt that just gives you a couple hours of time. Do note that the digital tuning is just a display (a frequency counter) - not digital tuning with presets as we know it with home or car stereos... but you don't have to squint at a dial as the clock display shows the frequency.
If you don't want to mess with rebates (especially Newegg), there is a Sony for under $12 at Walmart that has the same feature. Plus the Sony has a green display - these blue displays are BRIGHT at night.
