Newegg has the refurbished Emerson CKS9031 Dual Alarm Clock Radio for $13 - $7 rebate [Exp 2/7] = $6 with free shipping. Goes for $22+ brand-new. Features a digital tuner, one-touch radio and a large 1.4" blue LED display. Good reviews on Amazon.
Got one nice big clock face, but lousy radio quality. Since its a clock radio, for me not a big deal. Its really nice and has a number of features. It has variable sleep mode and keeps track of day-of-week , day, month and year. The other bad part is the rebate, I tend to get burned with them. But, even at $13 its totally worth it if it lasts.
I have this clock as well. Radio sucks. Very hard to lock in stations using rotary dial (hard to turn, then slips past station each way, a royal pita). Also, the blue LED is too bright for my taste, even on dimmest setting. Yellow or amber LED would work much better imo. If youre the kind of person who needs near total darkness, stay away. But at least it has dual alarms and is self-setting.
i purchased one too. its an okay clock radio, but not the best. while the radio is digital, it has a manual roll type tuner on the side that is hard to tune a station in. if your radio station is 104.7, the best setting will be a little off of the actual station frequency, like 105 the blue LED is bright even on the low setting and harder to read from a distance then red LED. will light up a bedroom at night! the backup battery is a 2032 flat button cell and not included.
