These things are pretty cool, except mine only lasted for three months before the alarm stopped sounding off when it was set.

A good stereo clock is most useful, if you wanna set alarm to music and crank it up loud without so much distortion. I don't think I'd call this one good though, and the CD might be a waste. It might be as well to just put an SD slot w/MP3 capability into it, especially if it gets thrown against the wall during those violent wakeups.
