I do a lot of red light signaling in my T job, so this is going to come in really handy.
This will be great for all my future special covert military operations.
Then why didnt you guys get one when it was on woot a week or two ago? Benny Boy posted it here too.
I picked up the Woot deal - it's a really nice device. Very solid, though it's plastic. It's bigger than I expected but also better built.
I have flashlights from Fenix and other high end makes and while not quite that same build quality, this is a really fantastic deal, even at $30.
Only complaint is that the IR light is more a minor beacon than something that can illuminate an area.
Ridiculous price for a low output plastic flashlight. If you really really need all these light modes but only a little light, maybe this is one to add to your collection but I doubt it, and you could carry two or three brighter flashlights in the same space as this.
It doesn't even look durable, drop it on the butt end (or it will fall that way since the batteries are towards that end) and the threads holding the bottom cap on will potentially break.
At least it takes 2 x AA instead of 3 x AAA.
