This works great in Maine from December to mid-March, especially with the fuel efficient tire tread and sleak basket design to help you fly over the frost heaves with less wind drag.

They're toothless by design; its to keep the bugs out of their teeth when riding these.

Be warned that a motorized two-wheeled conveyance that travels faster than 25mph is a motorcycle, and as such will require a motorcycle license and a helmet.

80cc I think is too large for a typical bicycle frame, you'll go faster than is at all safe.

And the one in he video on that site was LOUD. Too loud.

    I like the idea though.

Agreed with #11. You probably don't want bicycles going 40 mph, or maybe even 25. But I have seen some motorized bicycles around my town and envied them a bit.

this would work great if you're commute is fairly short.

    gas savings would be huge

All the benefits of a cheap moped and none of the benefits of a bicycle.

Why not pedal and get a work-out?
    Much "cooler" than a mo-ped

Any decent mountain bike can go 30 MPH without structural issues, or braking with disc brakes, easily. Beyond that, the issue is rider response to bad road conditions.
