I wonder how many people like me believe that a projector for home theater is one of the most wasteful investments. I spent about $1000 on mine 3 years ago, and I watched movies using projector less than 10 times a year, and the price of projector with the same spec dropped at least 30% a year
I don't think I will have the chance to replace the spare light bulbs that came with the projector.
If you have the space for it, then nothing beats it for a real movie experience. The gigantic size of the screen along with a decent HT set can make the movie more akin to a theater experience than watching on almost any TV set.
