Almost tempted.
Me too, anyone tried this yet? Large rebates I suppose....
Well $6 is about what most Epson stuff is worth do this is an okay deal.
For the $75 rebate you must purchase a digital camera or computer for it to be use. Otherwise only count on the $20 rebate.
Yes, well mini digital camera keychain qualifies as a digital camera. Only camera phones are excluded.
Wait a second... EPSON ripped me off on this same type deal years ago! They put out the rebate of blah blah off when you purchase "ANY" digital camera.
After 4 months, I got a letter from Epson saying my purchase did not qualify for the rebate becuase 'MINI' Digital cameras they considered not real digital cameras.
wait so should i even try this?
Also not to mention the printer died after about 6 months anyhow!! I think it was the EPSON 6400 or something like that.
rebate $20 not stackable with $75 !!!
That's what I was wondering. They don't state they are excluded but probably figure no one will take them to court over not saying they don't....
#7 ... Most likely you will NOT get the $75 back. Epson has no problem ripping off customers.
ben should mention about the $75 rebate requires another purchase!
He does! Buy.com has the Epson Stylus CX8400 Color Flatbed All-In-One with the Mini Digital Keychain Camera for $91 + $10. That is plain english
Ben includes the cost of the camera in the $6, but unfortunately, the $20 rebate states that it is not stackable with the $75 one. So the final cost would be $26, and that's only if they allow a rebate on the mini digital camera (read post #6)
I just applied for a couple Epson rebates on this printer, and they damn well had better pay them. I read through the qualifications before pulling the trigger and before mailing it. I'll have no problem calling Epson corporate to discuss any issues, and if necessary will be glad to discuss the matter in front of a Small Claims judge with Epson's representatives.
Sometimes you gotta follow up strongly with these companies - if you've fulfilled your end of the deal properly then if they don't hold up their end of the bargain by their *own* admission (read their forms) they have committed mail fraud against you.
Every company has an Executive Escalation department, and if you bother to take the time to contact them then they learn they can't just automatically add your sucker money into their quarterly profits without ramifications. In fact, as alleged "ghetto dogs" it is actually your DUTY to hold the rebate companies to their word, otherwise it only gets worse for everyone.
all i can suggest is make copies of everything before doing the rebate and if u don't get paid get buy.com involved in helping you
Even if its 26 dollars that is still a great price for an all in one printer
Why do you think it's not stackable with $75 rebate? The $20 rebate document says that it cannot be stackable with EP656, EP660, and EP693. However, the $75 rebate document refered to here is EP718. I think we can still get $20. But, the problem is whether or not Epson will regard the POS camera as a digital camera.
Epson paid on it's recent $75 rebate when I bought one of these and a legitimate digital camera. Staples paid the other $25.
#19, What was the camera you bought at that time?
How much was it?
