I enjoy how printer manufacturer's sell cheap hardware and then mark up ink prices to make up for their losses. Luckily for them over 80% of the dumbass college students are willing to pay for the marked up inks... L2REFILL! This printer sucks, scanning feature is subpar, but its perfect for that college student needing to make copies of their last semester's test for their juniors!
$60 printer and ~$60 4 ink cartridges.
Why buy cartridges - buy a new printer.
Get either this model, or the NX500 (which also has fax) at OM for the same price.
Just picked up the Konica Minolta 1600w color laser printer for $49.99 from Frys. It costs $189.99 and they have a promotion for $139 in store. I ordered online for in store pick up where it was $99.99 with an instant $50 off. No longer available on the Frys website though.
My current printer's cartridges have run out. At $60 I will probably just buy this new one instead of cartridges.
Anyone using a CIS successfully on these?
