Does anyone know if this printer comes with a "starter" set of ink which are not filled as much as retail ink cartridges? I was told this "may" be the case by a Circuit City employee, after I had mentioned reading online that this printer really sucks down the ink. I would like to try and figure out the cost of ink for printing a DVD. Seems like I would have to buy a set of all new retail ink to do this. Unless someone else has seen a web resource for this info.
I use my R260 stricly for printing DVD's, nothing else. The print quality is certainly better than my older and more expensive Epson R300. The R300 had lots of issues trying to feed in and eject the CD/DVD tray. I basically had to baby it by pushing the tray in manually at the point the machine was trying to feed in. Then it wouldn't eject, so I had to wait there watching to see when it would come out. If I missed either feed in (unlikely) or missed pulling it out after printing (very likley) then the this would jam and require to shut down and restart the printer. Man it was a pain in the ass. The R260 has feed perfectly on about 60 discs so far.
I would complain since 129.99-29.99 = 100.00 not 99.99. Isn't it convenient (for them) that now you can't save $25 on PayPal checkout, and can't get free shipping?
I get $100 - $20 google for $80 but there is a $50 rebate bringing it to $30.

The pricing is confusing on this one. Site states the following ...
$129.99 - Price
$29.99 - Instant Rebate
$50.00 - Printer Rebate Form & Details
$50.00 - Digital Camera & Printer Bonus Rebate Form & Details
$0.00 - Price After Rebates
They state they only offer free shipping for items over $100 but once you add to cart and begin check-out, the price is $99.99. No complaints here.
Also, if you use PayPal checkout, you save an extra $5. So, only $25 after MIR and using PayPal checkout.
