I am getting this for the ink.
I purchased a epson printer two months ago and there is $120 rebates, fortunately, all rebates came back. This time , I hope I still can get the luck and if it does, it is really a good deal.
My experience is you need to check the status all the time and if there is no record on their website, you need to call them and resubmit the rebate.
It's a darn good photo printer that also prints on directly on inkjet printable CDs.
Factory ink is super expensive but 3rd party ink is cheap.

This is a great printer. I paid $135 for it at office depot just 2 months ago.
Photo's are superior to my previous 4800 DPI HP and it prints to DVDs and CDs with out labels (must be printable media). Epson ink is superior to HPs and they are inherently more water resistant.
Prints look stunning.
I have to flip over my DVD back-ups and check the dye layer to see which ones are the original and which ones are the copies.

Just ordered one. I use the gift cards on ink. Never owned an Epson. I have to replace my Canon I900. It was a great printer, prints great photos. An 8 X 10 in about a minute and a half. I'll see after I print with the Epson and compare it with my Canon.

Ritz is the worst online retailer. They take up to months to process your order (I am not kidding) and they can back order anything that shows as available online. Customer service know nothing and takes forever to get through. Don't waste your time.
