i havent read either rebate, but last time epson had the 70 buck rebates i got a cx4400 from buy.com i believe, and the rebate came back surprizingly fast from epson, it only took 2-3 weeks. so if the rebate is thru epson directly i wouldnt worry
a few months ago I did this same deal from buy.com and got both rebates back. i did have to use the serial number and UPC label from another electronic device since the mini-camera i bought didnt have a SN.
I had the same experience as Nos. 3 and 4. Just fill out the forms carefully, make copies of everything, and you should be fine. But having said that, I'd suggest going with a laser printer for the same price.
I've had very good luck w/ these FAR (or nearly FAR) deals where you add a cheapo digital camera ($10-20) to say, a $100 printer, then get $100 back in rebate(s).
BUT, that was ALWAYS w/ manufacturer rebates (Epson, Canon, HP, etc.). I must have done this 4-5 times now over the past couple years, no problems at all. What would worry me about this deal is that a) the $30 rebate is from Ritz, and b) even though I used cheapo/toy digital cameras, they were still digital cameras no matter how you sliced it, NOT a watch w/ integrated camera. IOW, the digital camera in this deal seems to be more "watch" than "camera" imo, and *may* be too risky (at least it is for me). And frankly, the fact this deal still costs you $45 if all goes well is too expensive, considering I got that same printer FAR and with far less risk.
So FWIW, I personally would NOT jump on this deal. Too risky, and a risk that's not warranted given the final price ($45).
I doubt they will honor the rebate based on that top camera watch though. you are risking that $70 rebate when you buy that.
They wont. Its a trap.

Well put, No. 6. I agree.
